Spiritual Pilgrimage

The following serve the formation purposes on the way: meditation, conferences and discussions. Spiritual pilgrims are advised to read the Bible every day for at least fifteen minutes, to reflect on the Word of God for a given day. In addition, it would be good to read a book or a religious magazine.

Among the prayer practices, the most important is the daily Holy Mass. Others are: the Little Hours, the Rosary, the Litany of Loreto, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the Way of the Cross. It is recommended that spiritual pilgrims perform at least some of them.

The penance practiced by pilgrims on the route consists of undertaking the hardship of walking, patiently enduring ailments and sharing various goods with other people. The penance of spiritual pilgrims is patiently enduring illness, adversity and kind service to others.

Just like the payers on the way, the spiritual pilgrims should offer their participation to the Lord God with a specific intention. It is also worth considering what new things each day of the spiritual pilgrimage brought to life, what was good about it, and what else could be changed
